Reliability

The switches are capable of running in extreme conditions within a temperature range of -40 degree Celsius to 70 degree Celsius. The switches come with a performance safety certificates like the UL/IEC(CB) 60950 certification and guarantee performance in rugged settings thanks to their IP30 protection.

 

Power Usage

The powering of these switches can be done in range options between 12 to 57 VDC for Non-PoE variants, 45 to 57 VDC input for PoE switches adheres to the IEEE 802.3af standard and 51 to 57 VDC for IEEE 802.3at compliant PoE switches. In case of the eight PoE ports switch variants, the maximum power consumption is limited to 30W per port, resulting in a maximum power consumption of 240W.

 

Supported Protocols

Some of the protocols supported by the EHG75XX series switches are RARP, PROFINET, Modbus/TCP, IGMPv3, and IEEE 1588v2 Precision Time Protocol HW-Based Transparent clock.

The switches come with a powerful switching platform which support advanced redundancy protocols like ERPS and RSTP. The switches are CE/FCC/UL and NEMA TS-2 Certified for Traffic Control Applications.

 

Variant

The switches are available in many variations of ports up to 16 copper ports supporting speeds like 10,100 and 1000 MBPS or 16 fiber slots with 1000 MBPS speed, over SFP slots and 4 Gigabit ports. These reliable and fault tolerant layer 2 switches come in three variants: 1. EHG7512 2. EHG7516 3. EHG7520

 

EHG7512

A 12-port switch comprising of a combination of RJ45 1G connectors, RJ45 PoE connectors, SFP 1G and 10G ports based on the selected model, resulting a total of five types of switches namely: • EHG7512-4SFP • EHG7512-4PoE-4SFP • EHG7512-8PoE-4SFP • EHG7512-4SFP-4SFP • EHG7512-4PoE-4SFP-4SFP

 

EHG7516

Applications

As the EHG75XX switches play a key role in surveillance systems, they can be applied in real world scenarios like Airport Surveillance, City Surveillance, and Highway Toll Booth Management, which are a cornerstone in emerging smart cities. The switches were also featured at the Fifth Smart City India Expo in Delhi from 22 to 24 May, as part of ATOP’s participation in the event and these switches will continue to be our show highlights in the subsequent shows.
